Here we have an antique large shark vertebrae walking cane with a horn handle. There are statement canes, and then there is this. Each segment builds up to a tall order of command, growing wider as you rise to the handle. You literally grip the thing by a horn. The 19th century cane is a sight to behold and a statement to be made. The rich nautical history in this relic is a mainline to mother ocean. So tactile, you can feel the power in your hand.

The rare walking cane came out of the estate of a wealthy collector in the Rochester MN area. It was likely created in the 1880s. I wish this beauty could talk.

The antique walking stick measures just over 35 3/4" tall. The diameter of the horn handle is 1 1/4". The cane has patina everywhere. A couple of the vertebrae segments in the bottom half are experiencing losses. There are a few cool character bends in the lower half. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA (no PO Boxes please). Free shipping on the rare cane.

A true merging of the wild and civilization. Who's kidding who? Nothing's truly civilized, especially this cane. Welcome to the wild.
