Antique Folk Art Walking Cane | Early 1900s Stick

Here we have an unusual antique folk art walking cane with a carved handle and painted stripes all the way to the rusty metal ferrule. Yet another folk art walking stick where I can't another to compare it to. A singular vision with an animal spirit. Check out the primitive carvings at the start of the handle, and then we have the tiger stripes covering the rest of the cane. With the earthy tone, this thing just looks bad to the bone.

The primitive folk art cane comes out of a Twin Cities collector's estate. I'm unsure where the cane was originally made. I'm guessing the cane was made in the early 1900s, like the 10s or 20s.

The rare antique stick stands just one 36" tall, and the handle extends about 6". There killer wear and patina throughout. There are some notches near the middle of the cane and towards the bottom....let's just hope those were incidental, and not intentional....(ahem). The metal ferrule is rusted and is a little loose. However, it always stays attached. Also, the cane/wood is on the lighter side. Normally my wood canes are a bit heavier. Not sure about the type of wood. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO Boxes). Free shipping on the unusual cane.

I gave up searching for another one like it. She will latch on to your animal instinct.
