1970s Painting of African American Woman | Rare Soul Power

Here we have a fantastic 1970s painting of an African American woman from both the front and side views. Soul Power via paint and canvas, straight, no chaser. This rare painting is a powerful beauty, and pics don't do it full justice. The background's coming out at you to round out an amazing piece of vintage artwork. The iconography, the design, the message....I mean, c'mon. I can go on and on, but the pics say it as well as possible.

The rare African American art comes out of the Milwaukee area. The painting is signed Watkins 1976. The artist is a mystery at this point. I'm all ears if you have more information.

The wood framed vintage painting measures just over 16" tall and 16" wide. The painting has light patina from age throughout. in the lower right there are a few canvas waves (see pic). On the reverse there is evidence of a repair (see pic). The black wood frame appears handmade and as a few gaps in the corners. None of it takes away from the power of the rare painting. Please see all pics as they are part of the description.

I ship FedEx to street addresses in the continental USA only (no PO boxes). Free shipping on the amazing 70s artwork.

I know you got soul....Power all day, every day.
